★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw their sign board written in Malayalam and we went in there expecting some good Kerala Style food.
Needless to say, it was a big disappointment. Their menu board boasts of many items and we were told most of them were unavailable.
Wheat Parotta : Was very stale and hard.
Normal Kerala Parotta: Was ok, but compared to other restaurants in Riyadh it was just an average.
Quail Fry: Was too dry, and for SAR 8 it was not worth.
Chicken Leg Fry: Again too dry and the serving portion is not worth the money.
Ghee Roast: Very average, so was the sambar and chutney.. (came to realize that even ghee roast can be spoiled)
Fish Curry: Was good.
The Gravy given with chicken fry and Parotta: Yuck.. what was even that??
The only saving grace was the neer appam which was good.. but it was begging for a decent side dish. And ofcourse their tea was good.
Overall the place is a big disappointment in terms of the food served, cleanliness and ambience.
