The mosque was considered a scientific beacon for the people of the area, where the mosque contained a book in which students learned the Holy Qur’an. The mosque was restored in 1372 AH. At the expense of one of the people of the area, the Suleiman Mosque is located on Wadi Nukhb and is 1.5 km away from Hassan bin Thabet Road, the link between the city of Taif and the city of Al-Baha. The local area was used, and cut stones built with mud mortar and its roof were made of tree trunks covered with palm fronds. The total area is about 390 m2 and can accommodate about 36 worshipers. The mosque consists of a prayer house, an imam’s room and a retreat. The mosque also contains a well and the mosque has an entrance to the north, and a minaret with a height of about 5 m.
