كانت في وقتها مركز الحركة الثقافية والعلمية والاجتماعية في بالجرشي بل في الجنوب كافة
وهو المكان الذي استقبل فيه اهالي بالجرشي الملك سعود رحمه الله في اول زيارة ملكية المنطقة سنة ١٣٧٤هه
