يقع المسجد في الشمال الغربي من المدينة المنورة بمحاذاة جبل سلع الذي يحده شرقا و طريق السبع المساجد حنوبا ومسجد القبلتين غربا ، موقع متميز على الدائري الثاني في مدينة المصطفى عليه أفضل الصلاة والسلام...
المسجد جميل جدا و أأمته أجمل ؛ومن قام على عمارته هنيئا له هذا الأجر. أدركت صلاة العشاء في هذا المسجد الجميل ، وخلف امامه الفاضل ((لااعرف اسمه )) ولكن كان الصوت الداخلي مرتفع جدا يفقدك الخشوع ، على الرغم من جمال القراءة الحدرية التي كان يتلو بها الأمام وممكن انه تكون صادف مشكلة في المكبرات لا اعلم ، ولست في مقام انتقاد او غيره..
