يُعد أحد أقدم المساجد في منطقة حائل ، وتعود أهميته لكونه من أقدم المساجد في مغيضة التاريخية التي تقع في وسط حائل ، ويعود تاريخ إنشاء المسجد إلى عام ١٢٧٩ هـ ، وُرمم في عام ١٣٨٢ هـ ، واستمرت الصلاة تُقام فيه حتى عام ١٤١٢ هـ .. حتى توقفت الصلاة به ثم أصبح أحد الثلاثين مسجداً تاريخياً الذي تم اختيارها ضمن مشروع الأمير محمد بن سلمان لتطوير المساجد التاريخية بالمملكة ، وهو الآن جاهز لإقامة الصلوات .
يتميز المسجد ببنائه على طراز المنطقة الوسطى المبني من الطين والحجر ، وسقفه من خشب الأثل وسعف النخيل ، وتبلغ مساحته الكلية نحو (٤٥٠ متر مربع ) ويتسع لنحو ١٩٢ مصليًا ، ويتكون المسجد من : بيت للصلاة وخلوة وسرحة مكشوفة ، وسابقاً للمسجد مدخلان يقعان في الواجهتين الشمالية والجنوبية ، والآن يتكون المسجد بعد تطويره من : بيت الصلاة والخلوة وسرحة ودورات المياه وأماكن الوضوء ومستودع .

 The historic Jarad Mosque (Al-Maghaydah Mosque):
It is considered one of the oldest mosques in the Hail region, and its importance is due to being one of the oldest mosques in the historic Maghaida, which is located in the center of Hail. The mosque was established in 1279 AH, and it was restored in 1382 AH, and prayers continued to be held there until 1412 AH .. until it stopped Prayer in it then became one of the thirty historical mosques that were selected within the project of Prince Mohammed bin Salman to develop the historical mosques in the Kingdom, and it is now ready to hold prayers.
The mosque is distinguished by its construction in the style of the middle region, built of mud and stone, and its roof made of tamarisk wood and palm fronds, and its total area is about (450 square meters) and can accommodate about 192 worshippers. And the southern part, and now the mosque, after its development, consists of: a house of prayer, seclusion, a lounge, toilets, ablution places, and a warehouse.
