وهي عند أهل السنة المبرأة في حادثة الإفك بآيات من القرآن، أُنزلن من فوق سبع سماوات. أنه من فضلها أنه نزل على النبي محمد(صلى الله عليه وسلم)الوحي وهو في لحافها دون غيرها. وأن النبي محمد حين مرض مرضه الأخير اختار أن يُمضي أيامه الأخيرة في حجرتها دون غيرها من نسائه
