★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ويقوم المركز ضمن مهامه بالإسهام في تطوير قدرات الطلاب واتجاهاتهم وميولهم بما يعزز اختيارهم لمسارات علمية ومهنية مستقبلية ذات صلة بالعلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM)، والمشاركة في دراسة المناهج الدراسية، وتقديم الدعم الفني والعلمي الى الجهات ذات العلاقة في إعداد وتطوير المناهج والعلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM)، وتقديم برامج النمو المهني بالتعاون مع المركز الوطني للتطوير المهني التربوي والجهات ذات العلاقة في إعداد وتطوير المعلمين والممارسين ذوي العلاقة بمجالات العلوم والتنقية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM)، وبرامج تطويرهم المهني، إضافة إلى تعزيز التعلم والتعليم القائم على البحث العلمي بالشراكة مع مركز التميز البحثي في تطوير تعليم العلوم والرياضيات والجهات ذات العلاقة بما يحقق توجه العلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM)، وإقامة الفعاليات والمناشط المعززة لذلك، وتوحيد الجهود والتكامل بين وزارة التعليم والجهات ذات العلاقة فيما يخص المشاريع والبرامج ذات الصلة بتوجه العلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM).
