★ ★ ★ ★ ★ منطقة لية على وادي لية , جنوب شرق مدينة الطائف وترتبط إدارياً بمدينة الطائف , وتبعد عنها حوالي 20كم على طريق (الطائف ـــ الباحة– أبها) وترتفع عن سطح البحر من 1500 إلى 1700م وتتكون منطقة لية من سلاسل جبلية مرتفعة في غرب المنطقة حيث يغلب على الأجزاء الجنوبية السمة الجبلية فهي تعتبر جزءاً من سلسلة جبال السروات , ثم تتدرج في الاتجاه الشمالي الشرقي إلى سلسلة متعرجة من التلال ثم إلى سهل منبسط إلى الشمال الشرقي من الطائف , ويعتبر وادي لية من أجمل الأودية الذي يبلغ طوله 15كم متجهاً إلى الشمال ، كما يوجد بها عدد من السدود القديمة . وتوجد الأراضي الزراعية والتجمعات السكانية على جانبي وادي لية في مواقع أعلى من مجرى السيول ويربطها خط سريع مزدوج مع خطوط مزفلتة داخلية إلى ثمالة وبني سعد والقرى المحيطة بها .

There are agricultural lands and population centers on both sides of Wadi Layya in locations higher than the torrential stream, and they are linked by a double highway line with internal asphalted lines to Thumala, Bani Saad and the surrounding villages.
