Lido Compound - Ar Rabwah

I moved to Lido compound one year ago. It was worst experience of my life. There are two main characters in this compound, first one Ala the agent who is dealing for the contract. He lives in dubai and after the contract its quite rare you will see him in the compound. 2nd character is Iltaf a rude rough guy who works as security guard, maintenence person (and he know nothing) and as a cleaner. Cleaning it depends when Ala visits the compound iltaf will clean the compound otherwise he is busy in sleeping. There is a pool but it's for summer, no arrangement for winter. If you are living with kids please remember there is no guard for pool so you should have good swimming skills to save your kids if they will be in the pool. Major issues no maintenance everyday you will have some small issues and some time major to.. You need to call iltaf every time and you are lucky enough if he will answer your call. When i moved to Apartment, in living area they fixed a brand new AC which stopped working in the peak of Summer and compressor was not working even though it was in guarantee but Ala charged me 600 SAR for replacing the compressor. And even it took 4 months to fix the problem because as usual Mr Ala was in Dubai. And sorry to say if you are not Arabic iltaf will not even bother to listen you. And he need permission from Ala to fix anything. There is no lift so consider if you are living on 2nd story and you need to moved your stuff with family. Gym no machine is working Kids play area so called nursery full of dust no cleaning. They don't bother even you will tell them many times. And last thing if you will forgot the key. Please take your neighbours mobile number as mostly Iltaf is on picnic and you can't find him in the compound. So you will be stuck outside. Washrooms are very small, very bad interiors so There are many issues . If we summarize we can say the apartment is not worth of 45 or 50 K.. Last thing before moving check everything otherwise when you will move out they will charge you even for the damage which happened before you. Even minor cracks in kitchen washing basin.

Amazing place to be in , we loved that place for everything it prvides there is a lot of services , and the kids had alot of fun. the location is so stratigic , you have everything around. We had to move for work

So Cool place , I lived there with my famliy and frinds and I miss my every day fun , we had a very nice swimming pool , and the afternoon tea party in the cafe. the manageing partner use to give is toyes and kandy. and we Miss him very much

It’s a nice compound the decor are so nice and beautiful the management is so cooperative the life there is lovely, the people are lovely and friendly .

Very nice Complex for living, comfortable and cozy. One of my best experience there, i recommend Lido for expats.

Like the other said Very Rude owner, at first i posted i needed something for 35K , they said they have, then it turn out to be 40 K , the next day i went and the Janitor "Altaf" told me it is 50K , i asked them why the price keep changing, he accused me that i am delusional and shame on me for asking that. and if you pay 100K we wont rent you

Really dirty they clean it one they in a month the nursery is trash no playground no security the home Doors are really old

I grow up there Its the most exciting time of my life. Great place , facility always expanding we had a nice Gym , cool swimming pool and very nice kids area. There is even a kids guardian. The management are very helpful and the maintenance are very good and on time most of the time. The place is very well taken care of . Morning tea on the balcony is so heartwarming and gives a lot of energy .
