I’m a customer of Marriott for years .. by far this is the worst experience ever .. first they accused me for buying drinks from the lounge and charged to my room and when I asked for a copy for the signed receipt they said it’s lost + 800 high speed internet + 1000 deposit they never returned for almost 2 years now. I have Sent several emails, unfortunately no respond from Le meridian, neither their management .. so disappointed

It’s a pity when you enter a Marriott associated hotel to find that all the effort and magnificence of the place spoiled by a poorly trained staff and a bad management. First of all, they made me feel ashamed of my Titanium elite status and that status doesn’t qualify me to any privileged treatment and subsequently no room upgrade was given, although the Bonvoy App showed at least 3 suites available at the time of check in, the receptionist said: the decision was made by the manager. Then they started to negotiate about the right for having breakfast included and the welcome gift points, and by the way, no breakfast was offered in their club lounge. I had no mood to argue as I have just arrived after a long 7 hours drive in the summer heat of the desert from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia. Every benefit of the loyalty program which is given swiftly and smoothly elsewhere, in Le Meridien Riyadh is a hurdle that you have to fight for with your teeth to get it at last with a yellow smile from “The Hateful Eight” movie style of the staff. This hotel obviously needs a good manager, a good training for the staff, and better maintenance, otherwise it shouldn’t be branded as Le Meridien.

Worst experience at any 5-star hotel, disgrace for a Marriott brand. Overbooking the hotel and sending multiple guests away including myself who’ve arrive on the red eye hoping to catch a couple of hours of sleep. No remedy just an apology. Disgrace

Stunning hotel! Modern, fresh, and exciting! I loved the buffet lunch and watching Riyadh go by. Makes me realise how cosmopolitan Riyadh is becoming. Looking forward to returning!

The hotel is really good. Food is good. Staff is awesome. Rooms are top notch. The only point to improve really it’s the wifi. Even the paid version is really not enough

Despite the nice hardware, the service level in this hotel is far behind any other bonvoy hotel in this category. 20+ stays and there was not a single request which the team was able to solve within 1 hour. Not even very simple asks (bring an Iron to the room). It’s seems like the general manager has given up completely.
