Just bring your food and drink with you, because there no near grocery stores or restaurant.
There are free public clean toilets.

Varity of fishes available there .we can feed to them like bread ,etc .
We can see sun set and sun rise .
Better to reach in winter season 12.30 pm .
While summer 2.30pm .
We can get park easily if u reach early .other wise difficult to get parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is no doubt the best nature spot in the outskirts of riyadh. Since it’s winter now, the weather was pleasant in the afternoon. Getting a parking spot nearby the lake itself is quite difficult. The park is very well maintained with lots of active cleaning staff. Clean washrooms are available. It is advisable to carry water and food items as there are no cafes or canteens nearby. Don’t forget camping chairs or a large mat to sit comfortably, there is no grass. People prefer feeding the fish which is allowed and the kids enjoy it. It is also a Great spot for BBQ. People put up mini tents at night. It gets slightly dark at night though there is good lighting every few metres. Great spot for the weekend.

# Lake park is one of the best mini picnic spot in Riyadh.
# If you are in Riyadh with family then it is a must visit place.
# You can see the fast moving water flow like a river, water is a waste water only.
# Take water, snacks, food whatever needed, there is no shops near by area.
# Parking is also a bit concern if you are late means, try to be there before 3 to get prime parking
# You can feeds the fishes, if you have anything for them.
# Reaching the main spot, near to water is bit tricky, take the 1st right itself to reach to the water.
# If you keep going then you will reach the view points.
# If you have kids then take cycle with you for them, surely they will enjoy a lot
# Take barbecue sets and cook chicken and fish and enjoy freshly cooked food.
# Separate toilets are available, no issues on that.
# Try to come and go in the daylight itself, in a particular 10kms there will be no street lights.
# Enjoy either sunset or sunrise which will be so pleasent to watch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful place to spend time with your family and friends... Very big park along side of the lake... Lot of trees to sit under... Don't forget to bring your own mats to sit comfortably as there is no grass in the park... You can barbeque here.. also we are people are cooking so you can bring gas stove and cook your favourite food and eat hot in the cool winter... The best time to reach is early to get the parking nearby to the place where you sit or else you need park far away and it difficult to bring your stuff if they are heavy... Lighting at the night is beautiful to watch but the lights are only along side of the walkways and the cemented place near the small water fall where you can see a lot of fishes and can take pics... Washrooms are clean but far away... There are many cleaning staff to keep the place neat... You can request them to wash your utensils if you use.... Last but not the lease THERE IS NO PROPER CELLPHONE SIGNALS... so be ready to be out of city disturbance, Internet and enjoy your time with family and friends ?
