مساحة السوبرماركت صغيرة والاقسام كثيرة ولذلك تكون الاقسام متداخلة مثل قسم الفواكه واللحوم والاجبان والمخبز التي تقع تقريبا في اماكن قريبة من بعض.
الفاتورة النهائية في هذا السوبرماركت تكون عادة أرخص من المحلات الأخرى وهذا هو المهم.
