In 2011, it was the largest project in the world seeking green building accreditation. Bombardier won a $241m contract to build an automated monorail for the development. The design guidelines do not separate the sexes in the district.The KAFD master plan was designed and overseen by Danish architectural firm Henning Larsen Architects

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice little ecosystem that's being built here! A little expensive but I think it will be worth it in the long run. Right now the entire place is a construction site and even the completed places access is through this mess that's there on the entire site. But overall, it's a very nice place being built both architecturally and conceptually from a community perspective. Well definitely consider relocation perhaps a little later down the year when things have at least completed externally.
