★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last time I ate from this franchise, Google Maps and their reviews weren't a thing and I had fond memories of it. This time around, the only thing I could say is "for shame."
Here's a list of what was wrong with my order:
1- none of the orders were named and I had to open every sandwich/burger to identify its contents.
2- ALL orders were cold except the drinks and this particular branch is less than 5 minutes away from my house.
3- fries (and especially curly fries) were wet with oil, soggy and had zero crunch to them except for the burnt ones.
4- the entire meal (as in all orders) was bland and tasteless, what had sauces were drenched in them to the point you can't even taste the meat.
5- grilled orders were heavily charred and I can guarantee you haven't cleaned your grill in way too long of a time.
6- soft-drinks were heavily watered down, Pepsi doesn't remotely have any resemblance to canned or bottled variety.
7- everything is far too overpriced now, it'd have been cheaper to buy food at any other restaurant and for a much better experience.
All in all, I wish I didn't order today and had kept "Jan Burger" as a distant pleasant memory. But instead, I know for a fact I'd never waste my money here again.
