The market was deserted nearly 45 years ago, as the market was only on Friday, and it was rehabilitated about 6 years ago

The markets are still viewable. Needs to protect and serve for touristic visitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The story behind this fascinating place is mysterious to me. Not sure exactly how old is this place. Looking at the structures made of rocks, mud, juniper or palm trees, has to be at least 100 years old. Really hope to see the Royal Commission work on this old area soon. They have done impressive work on the historic district near the port.
