I think they said the current chefs are Pakistani and Filipino but despite not being Italian they are producing some good food although I concur with other reviewers who said it’s a little salty. We’ve been visiting this restaurant every so often for many years and haven’t noticed a decline in quality.
Prices are quite high particularly in comparison with the portions and lack of sides; for example I ordered the spinach stuffed chicken with herb sauce - it comes with a small portion of vegetables but nothing substantial like a portion of pasta. Having said that, you are given a board with breads and tapenade to enjoy while waiting for your food to come. End price was 200sar for two people.
There’s a choice of seating - the larger tables towards the front of the restaurant and then there’s more intimate seating with lower lighting and sofas to the back of the restaurant although this section has become quite shabby over the years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yum yum yum... my group had 13 people and while we walked in together cocid rules wouldn't let us all sit together but the staff kept us off to a corner together so we didn't feel entirely separated from each other.
One thing right off the bat the paper menu and the qr code menu are almost entire different menus so be sure to look te both over. There are so mNy choices good luck making a choice. Haha
I ordered way too much food.
The seafood chowder was the best even if it didn't come inside a bread bowl as shown on the menu, but you can request rolls for dipping. I also got a huge salad with lots of yummy treats inside and to finish off I had the shrimp languini (which they call gumbo spaghetti ?. I didn't even come close to finishing it.
I didn't hear anyone complain. Although one member of our group who is vegan had a difficult time finding a vegan dish. The choices were few but he did enjoy his meal. Just be warned the menu is difficult.to navigate. It's also not in English.
Cozy, ambient lit Mediterranean atmosphere gave it an added pleasure.
Worth going to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value for money. Amongst one of the oldest Italian Restaurants in Riyadh. It used to have a big boat in the middle of the hall with fishing nexts hanging from the ceiling. Authentic Italian cuisine. Fantastic pizzas, pastas and salads. An old-time favorite of Riyadh expat and local community. Italian pizza connoisseur has been at the helm of oven for 30 years, you would never have guessed he is originally from Dhaka, Bangledesh.
