★ ★ ★ ★ ★ أنشئت الكلية التقنية بالرياض في عام 1403 هـ / 1983م كأول كلية تقنية متوسطة في المملكة العربية السعودية. وكان هدفها الأول تخريج الكوادر الفنية المؤهلة علمياً وعملياً للعمل في المجالات الفنية الوسطى التي تسهم بشكل مباشر في بناء الاقتصاد الوطني. وخلال السنوات الست الأولى من تطبيق برنامج الدبلوم ظهرت حاجة المؤسسة العامة للتدريب التقني والمهني للمدرسين الفنيين، للعمل في المعهاد الفنية التابعة للمؤسسة. لذا تبنت المؤسسة فكرة وتطبيق برنامج البكالوريوس لتأهيل المتميزين من خريجي برنامج الدبلوم في الكليات التقنية علمياً وتربوياً للعمل في مجال التدريس في المعاهد الثانوية الصناعية والكليات التقنية. وفي 10/6/1409هـ صدرت موافقة المقام السامي الكريم (7/194/م) على تطوير الكلية التقنية المتوسطة بمدينة الرياض ومدة فترة الدراسة فيها أربع سنوات لتمنح درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة التقنية وتعطي خريجيها من الميزات مايعطي لخريجي كليات الهندسة في المملكة. والجدير بالذكر ان الكليات التقنية في المملكة العربية السعودية هي الكليات الوحيدة التي لاتتبع لوزارة التعليم العالي.
تحتوي بعض أقسام الكلية على مرحلتي الدبلوم والبكالوريوس بينما تقتصر بعضها على مرحلة الدبلوم فقط.

The Technical College was established in Riyadh in 1403 AH / 1983 as the first technical college in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The first objective was to graduate qualified technical and scientific staff to work in the technical fields that contribute directly to the building of the national economy. During the first six years of the implementation of the diploma program, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation of Technical Teachers was required to work in the Foundation's Technical Institute. Therefore, the Foundation adopted the idea and application of the bachelor's program to qualify distinguished graduates of the diploma program in the technical colleges scientifically and educationally to work in the field of teaching in industrial secondary institutes and technical colleges. On 10/6/1409 AH, the Royal Decree (7/194 / M) approved the development of the Technical College in Riyadh and the duration of the study period of four years to grant a bachelor's degree in technical engineering and give its graduates the advantages given to graduates of engineering colleges in the Kingdom. Technical colleges in Saudi Arabia are the only colleges that do not follow the Ministry of Higher Education.
Some sections of the college have both diploma and bachelor degrees, while others are limited to the diploma stage only.

There is a problem that I cannot get outside coffee or eat. Why should I buy from the college? This is a point I wish they would change it. Everything is sweet and the trainers’ style is better than sweet. The problem at the security door is their very rude and attacking method.
