★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the vibes are 5/5 stars but we are here to review the food. The food are authentic italian food with high quality and great taste. The pizza was saltless but i rather have no salt than have plenty of it. The Cordon blue was great and the appetisers were great. Overall great enjoyable experience and food. 10/10 recommend

Terrible vibes. Bad service. We ordered pizza and lasagna and food was waaay less than average ويشبه كل شي الا الاكل الايطالي
Too bad was excited about this place but it’s not something I would recommend or go back to again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this place after I heard it’s the oldest Italian restaurant in town. The staff were welcoming and polite throughout the visit, they even replaced my drink which I mistakenly spilled. However, the quality of the food is average at best especially for the prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family has been eating in this restaurant for almost 2 decades and last night's dinner experience was very disappointing.
Except for the pizzas the food was very bland. The Hummus was so dry and after giving us complimentary hummus in the start, when we asked for another one, they should inform us that it is chargeable and not complimentary.
Also a cover charge for each person plus VAT? No restaurant in Jeddah asks for cover charge per person why do Castello ask for it? They've already hiked up their prices on the menu.
It doesn't go by the rules of Ministry of Commerce.
Interiors really need improvements, there's AC leakage stains, curtains have burnt marks, washroom faucet is rusty.
It's like the place has never been renovated in 40 years.
They really need to do it up and improve their food quality back to where it was.
Pizzas are the only thing I can recommend in this restaurant now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the vibes of the restaurant. The menu has a variety of options to choose from. We got margharitta pizza, Lasagna, and chicken cordon blue. The pizza was tasteless and the dough tastes like tortilla. The lasagna was a great disappointment to me. I didn’t like the flavor at all. The cordon blue is stuffed with roast beef which is sadly not mentioned in the menu. And it is also dry I wish they serve it with mushroom sauce on the side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the gem in Jeddah. Great please to taste fine cuisine. I used to go there every month. I just visited the place Saturday. It has all sort of Mediterranean food style. The food was good. I would have given it 5 stars, but I was a bit disappointed comparing the food taste to few years ago. Nevertheless, you should give it a try as it is worth it ?
