I have a very clean used sofa and I want to donate it to one of the needy families. My question is: Does the association receive donations like this or not?

Compliments are unfair

Charity heals physical illnesses, so the Messenger says, "Heal your sick with alms." Charity pays affliction, so Yahya, peace be upon him, says in his will to the children of Israel, “I commanded you to give alms. Charity leads to righteousness, as God Almighty says: “You will not receive righteousness until you spend from what you love.” Charity causes the king to pray to its owner every day, so the Messenger says, “There is no day when the servants become nothing but two kings who come down. Charity helps in blessing with money and livelihood, as the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Charity does not diminish from money." There is nothing left for the owner of the money except what he gave in charity. When the Prophet asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her, about the sheep that they slaughtered what was left of it: She said: What is left of it is its shoulder. He said, “It was all but her shoulder.”

May God reward them well, and may God perpetuate our rational government
