★ ★ ★ ★ ★ قبل مائة سنة تقريبا كان هذا المكان خارج الرياض وكانت بئر المشيقيق هي مكان اجتماع لقوافل حجاج بلدة الرياض الصغيرة آنذاك للانطلاق نحو مكة لأداء مناسك الحج... ثم توسعت البلد وبني المسجد وسمي باسم البئر المجاورة المشيقيق ودخلت ضمن أحياء الرياض بل وصار هذا الحي من أحياء الرياض القديمة..
 About a hundred years ago this place was outside Riyadh and the well Mishiqig is a meeting place for the convoys of pilgrims of the small town of Riyadh at the time to go towards Mecca to perform the rituals of pilgrimage ... Then expanded the country and built the mosque and named after the neighboring well Mishiqig and entered the neighborhoods of Riyadh and even became this Old Riyadh ..
