★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We say Thuwal when it comes to fresh fish. Fresh fish auction starts here after Asr Prayer (approximately 4pm) ends till sales last.
Most buyers are vendors who will then resell the fish after the Maghrib Prayer (approximately 7pm) to customers.
Once you buy the fish you can either clean it in the market itself (preferable) or take it to the restaurant and let them clean and cook it for you. Most restaurants don't clean fish so to be safe do the cleaning in the market.
If you're taking away your fish you can buy a fish box and ice in the market itself.
Would definitely recommend.
