★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have heard from a good friend of mine that her brothers used to go to this school when they were small, and that the teachers would beat them and hit them. Not only that but I have seen that the school false advertise themselves on the back of their notebooks. When passing through the hallways, I notice that in some classes the teachers don’t pay attention to the students and just use their phones while children run around and scream. This school doesn’t even offer proper food. And their books and uniforms are way too overpriced. The teachers have no way to explain, yet sometimes can’t even answer a student’s question. All they do is read from the textbook and write whatever they find on the smart board. I wouldn’t consider Dar Jana as a school, more like a jail for children. They don’t deserve a high rating

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school is way too expensive and doesn't reach the standard knowledge for a student to know. In one's class, the teacher slacks off and doesn't teach properly the required topics the child must learn, yet the young learner is given upon at least 2-3 assignments each day and quizzes and exams per week. The institute should knowingly place rest for the children for it is a necessity too. The school's environment is also a huge issue to work with. I have heard that there are problems the principal, teachers, counselors etc. have faced with their students but tell them to forget the facts and ignore/move on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros:
-Learning is not bad there
-Strong curriculum
Cons:
-Most teachers are arrogant to their students
-They treat grade 7 students like their grade 2
-Unfairness always happens there
-The building is old and small for the number of students there
-The worst part is that phones aren’t allowed even though it’s the most important accessory.
Phones are definitely supposed to be allowed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Graduated from this school in 2019 and started my studies in the year 2017/2018 (grade 11) so only had 2 years experience in this establishment.
My first year was tough as I had to get use to the load of work and exams. But as the months passed I realized the more the better as it gives students a better chance if they haven't done well in some tests. The teachers are very close to the students and are ready to do anything to help the students achieve. The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 is because of the boys school was way to small for the number of students there where, we use to get crushed in hallways when it was break time and there was barely any place to sit during the brake. Other then that the staff are very helpful and understanding towards the students. I must mostly give credits to the schools principle who use to come every morning at our gathering talking to us senior students about our future and motivating us. My experience was good, DarJana has changed me a lot. It gives the student a sense of belonging and strengthens the mentality. I am now far away from Jeddah in a diffrent country studying in University but I will never forget my roots, this country and this school that gave me so much.
Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very lacking school, they really don’t know how to care of really common issues with students,
the teachers are very arrogant and have a sense of entitlement towards the student, the out-of-classroom staff are neglectful, to say the least, the only thing saving it’s reputation in the eyes of outsiders is the “education”; joining this school still is one of if not my biggest regret.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reading other people's reviews reminded me of how bad my situation was and how I took everything for granted and ignored my viewpoint on this school. Sure, after I graduated, I thought it was a good school because I was enrolled in Dar Jana for 6 years until graduation and I had a sense of belonging and loyalty. However the truth is that racism, isolation and bullying were plenty during my time in this school. In the early grades it was more of racism and bullying, and in high school it became isolation. I sat alone in class while others had groups. No one wanted to hang out with me because of my nationality. Even though a majority of the class left early and I was the only one left, the teachers were not friendly towards me. They usually used their phones the entire period or chatted with other teachers from different classes. Little to no freedom was given to high school students. We were treated like children especially from our supervisors who wouldn't even let us have a short walk in the hallway for some fresh air. The atmosphere was mostly toxic with no one willing to help or communicate with the other. Assignments were crammed close to exams resulting in too much pressure and distress on the student. Books were overpriced and heavy to carry. Not to mention uniforms, which were just as expensive, were in bad quality and easily worn out. That pretty much sums up my experience. I would not recommend putting your child in this school if their personality can't handle these negatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a good school but too packed. Also there is no space for boys neither girls section where to pray. They come home without praying Duhr and it’s already Asr time. The other thing is when you send an email or try to reach somebody, you don’t get a respond and if you get it it’s too late especially in the girls section. Please work on these things
