مدرسة أهلية أسسها الشيخ / أحمد بن محمد بن عبدالرحمن الدهلوي - رحمه الله - عام 1350هـ بترخيص من الملك عبدالعزيز آل سعود - طيب الله ثراه - وذلك لتدريس القرآن الكريم والحديث النبوي الشريف والعلوم النافعة وتخريج متخصصين على نهج المحدثين لدعوة الناس إلى الإسلام ونشر العقيدة الصحيحة.
وقد كانت الدار عند إنشائها تتكون من ثلاثة أقسام حسبما جاء في نظام أعمالها الصادر عام 1357/1358هـ، وهي :
(1) القسم الأدنى
(2) القسم المتوسط
(3) القسم العالي
وفي عام 1364هـ وجد قسم متخصص لتدريس السنة النبوية سمي شعبة الحديث.
وفي عام 1375هـ انتقل مؤسسها إلى جوار ربه وانتقلت إدارة الدار إلى الشيخ/ عبدالرحمن بن يوسف الإفريقي - رحمه الله - والذي بذل جهداً كبيراً في تحسين وضع الدار، فوضع نظاماً لها عام 1376هـ وسعى كذلك للحصول على دعم من الدولة - أعزها الله - فصدر أمر سامي بإصدار ميزانية لدار الحديث بالمدينة المنورة ضمن الميزانية العامة للدولة للعام المالي 1377/1378هـ
وبعد وفاة مدير الدار الشيخ / عبدالرحمن الإفريقي عام 1377هـ انتقلت إدارة الدار إلى الشيخ / عمر بن محمد فلاته - رحمه الله - والذي بذل الكثير من الجهد والوقت في المحافظة على الدار والارتقاء بها.
وفي عام 1384هـ صدر الأمر السامي بدمج ميزانية دار الحديث بالمدينة المنورة بميزانية الجامعة الإسلامية وجعلها تابعة لها. وتابعت الدار رسالتها التعليمية تحت إشراف الجامعة الإسلامية والتحق المتخرجون من الدار بكليات الجامعة وتخرجوا منها ليؤدوا ما تحملوه من العلم النافع بالعمل الصالح.
أصبح نظام الدراسة حالياً في دار الحديث بالمدينة مماثلاً لنظام الدراسة في المعهد المتوسط والمعهد الثانوي.
بلغ عدد طلاب الدار في عام 1438 / 1439هـ (269) طالباً ينتمون إلى (12) قطراً.
 From the house
A private school founded by Sheikh / Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Dahlawi - may God have mercy on him - in 1350 AH with a license from King Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God rest his soul - to teach the Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s hadith and beneficial sciences and graduate specialists on the approach of modernists to call people to Islam and spread the correct belief.
At its inception, the house consisted of three departments, according to its business system issued in 1357/358 AH, namely:
(1) Lower section
(2) Intermediate section
(3) Higher section
In the year 1364 AH, a specialized department was found for teaching the Prophet’s Sunnah, called the Hadith Division.
In the year 1375 AH, its founder moved next to his Lord and the management of the house moved to Sheikh / Abd al-Rahman bin Yusuf al-Afriqi - may God have mercy on him - who made a great effort to improve the situation of the house. Issuing a budget for Dar Al Hadith in Medina within the state budget for the fiscal year 1377/1378 AH
After the death of the house’s director, Sheikh / Abd al-Rahman al-Afriqi, in 1377 AH, the management of the house moved to Sheikh / Omar bin Muhammad Fallatah - may God have mercy on him - who spent a lot of effort and time in preserving the house and improving it.
In 1384 AH, a royal decree was issued to merge the budget of Dar al-Hadith in Medina with the budget of the Islamic University and make it subordinate to it. The House continued its educational mission under the supervision of the Islamic University, and the graduates of the House joined the faculties of the university and graduated from it to do what they carried of useful knowledge and good work.
The current study system in Dar Al-Hadith in Medina has become similar to that of the intermediate institute and the secondary institute.
In the year 1438/1439 AH, the number of students of the House reached (269) students belonging to (12) countries.

بالنسبة للطاقم التعليمي تجد عندهم الحرص على فائدة الطلاب من المدير وحتى الحارس
اعرف سبعة طلاب ممن تخرجوا منها يثنون عليها خيرا وأخلاق هؤلاء السبعة وتحصيلهم العلمي خير دليل على ذلك
