The branch, which founded in Feb, 2009, is a project implementation representative in KSA on behalf of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited.
CRCC is one of the largest and most powerful mega size multiple construction corporations in China and in the world. In 2010, it has ranked as the 133th among the 500 top enterprises in the world. It has been on the list of “the 225 largest global contractors” and came as the first in 2010. CRCC was a successful candidate for the 500 top enterprises in China in 2010, ranking the 8th. CRCC is the largest contractor in China and the largest overseas contractor of the China as well.
The Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Project – Southern Line (hereinafter called “MMMP) project is the first project that CRCC Saudi Branch implemented in KSA. MMMP Project is the first infrastructure project signed under the frame agreement of the infrastructure cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia governments. The length of the Metro is 17.677KM, and the completion time is 22 months. On Feb. 10th 2009, at the presences of both Chinese President Hu Jintao and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the Contract was signed by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited and Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, which is an EPC Contract with the price of 6.65 billion Saudi Riyals in total.
