M	MoHD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ مَهامّ رجل الإطفاء لا يقتصرُ عمل رجل الإطفاء على مكافحة الحرائق؛ فهو مسؤول عن مجموعة كبيرة من المَهمّات التي تُطلَب منه، سواء في موقعِ الحريقِ أو في أيّة حالةٍ طارئةٍ أخرى، وفيما يلي أبرز المَهامّ التي يمارسُها رجل الإطفاء:][ مُمارَسة عمليّات الإنقاذ اللازمة للأشخاص العالقين داخل المباني المُتضرِّرة من الحريق، وذلك بالبحث عنهم، وتولِّي عمليّة إخراجهم سالمين. تقديم الرعاية الطبيّة للأشخاص المُتضرِّرين من الحريق. التعامُل مع جُثَث الضحايا الذينَ فارقوا الحياة قَبْلَ وصول رجال الإطفاء إليهم، كالحصول على معلومات عن الضحيّة، ونَقْلها إلى المستشفى. تنظيف الآثار الناتجة عن الحريق، وذلك بالتخلُّص من الأثاث، والأدوات المادّية المُتضرِّرة، والتخلُّص من الحُطام الناتج عن الحريق، وإزالة بقايا المياه الناتجة عن عمليّة الإطفاء. ترميم بعض الأجزاء التي ضَعُفَت، أو تهدَّمت؛ بسبب الحريق، مثل: الأرضيّات، والأسطُح، والأعمدة، وغيرها. صيانة الأجهزة اللازمة للتهوية، والتدفئة، والتحكُّم بالرطوبة، والمَعدّات اللازمة؛ لتوليد الطاقة، حيث يُطلَق على رجل الإطفاء الذي يتولّى هذه المهمّة اسم (المهندس المُستقِرّ)، أو (رجل الإطفاء الثابت). التحقيق في الحرائق؛ لمعرفة أسبابها، وخاصّةً في حالات الحرائق الجنائيّة التي يُشتبَه بوجود مُتورِّط فيها. تنفيذ عمليّات التفتيش عن السلامة العامّة للمباني، أو وجود مخالفات لقانون الحريق. إلقاء محاضرات تثقيفيّة للمواطنين في المدارس، والشركات، بحيث تشملُ تدريبهم على اتّخاذ الإجراءات الصحيحة عندَ وقوع الحريق. الاستجابة لحالات الطوارئ المختلفة، كحوادث السيّارات، وانهيارات الأبنية، والفيضانات، والانسكابات الكيميائيّة، وأنواع الحوادث غير العاديّة جميعها. Fire investigation; To find out their causes, especially in criminal arson cases in which they are suspected of being involved. Executing inspections for the safety of buildings, or for violations of the fire law.
