★ ★ ★ ★ ★ المرقب أو برج رغبة التاريخي هو بناء أثري يعود لأوائل القرن الثالث عشر الهجري، وبني في بلدة رغبة في إقليم المحمل التاريخي في منطقة الرياض حالياً، والبلدة تبعد قرابة 150 كيلو متراً عن مدينة الرياض، وتتبع إدارياً لمحافظة ثادق.
بني المرقب على يد البنّاء إبراهيم بن سلامة على طراز العديد من المباني في وسط نجد. مدخل المرقب يوجد على جهة اليمين ويلتف إلى اليسار، وقطر البناء صغير ويبلغ أربع أمتارٍ ونصف، لكن ارتفاعه يصل إلى 25 متراً وله ست قصبات ذات شكل اسطواني يقل حجمها كلما زاد الارتفاع. بداخل المرقب يوجد سارية صخرية تعمل على سند الدرج وتدعم البناء. بني المرقب في الجهة الجنوبية الغربية من البلدة بحيث لا تصلها السيول إلا إذا اجتاحت البلدة بأكملها، كما كان هذا الموضع هو أهم مواضع المراقبة لعدم وجود الجبال والرمال فيه ولأنه طريق القوافل والمسافرين.
في البرج إحدى عشر فتحة تسمى "مزاغير" وتستخدم في التهوية ولإخراج رأس البنادق. السارية الموجودة في المنتصف مكونة من مجموعة من القطع الصخرية تسمى بالخرز، كما يبلغ عدد درجات السلم 73 درجة.
 Al-Muraqqab or Burj Reghba is an archaeological building dating back to the early 13th century AH. It is built in the town of Rihba in the historical province of Al-Hamal in the Riyadh region. The town is located about 150 km away from the city of Riyadh.
The building was built by Ibrahim bin Salama in the style of several buildings in the center of Najd. The entrance of the watchtower is on the right and is winding to the left. The diameter of the building is small and is four and a half meters high, but its height reaches 25 meters and has six bars of cylindrical shape whose size decreases as the height increases. Inside the gazebo there is a rocky mast that works on the staircase and supports the building. The observatory was built in the southwestern part of the town so that the floods would not reach it unless the whole town was swept. This place was also the most important observation point because there were no mountains and sand in it and because it was the road of convoys and travelers.
The tower has eleven openings called "Mazajir" and used in ventilation and to remove the rifle head. The middle row consists of a set of rock pieces called beads, and the number of stairs is 73 degrees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ مرقب البره التاريخي أعيد بنائه بعد سقوطة منذ حوالي أربعة أعوام يبلغ ارتفاعه ثلاثون مترا كان يستخدم كبرج مراقبة أمنية للأخطار المحيطة بالبلدة فنحمد الله على نعمة الأمن والإيمان.
The historical Al-Barah watch was reconstructed after its fall about four years ago. Its height is thirty meters. It was used as a security watchtower for the dangers surrounding the town. We thank God for the blessing of security and faith.
