★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonga is a name rarely encountered while visiting Ethopia, if at all. But it deserves to be more well-known as it is regarded as the birthplace of Arabica Coffee.
Today I’ll be talking about Bonga Cafe, they invited me to come and check the place out for myself and try some of their coffee. The cafe was beautifully decorated and they look to provide an african vibe or aura to the cafe as soon as you enter it. With Tribal paintings, decor and african themed music they look to do just that.
It is a well known fact that Ethiopian coffee beans are some of the best that money can buy, so naturally I was pretty excited to try their coffee out for myself. They recommended me an Iced Smokey Latte. Which tasted different to say the least but a good type of different. Along with that we ordered a raspberry cheesecake, which was really good! It was a no-bake cheesecake so most of it was really soft and it made it felt like it’d melt in your mouth! The manager wanted us to try out the French Toast but unfortunately it was unavailable at the time. I look forward to going there again so I can try out a few more things for myself!

This coffee house is situated in the most renowned place of Riyadh that is BONGA Place. Location is pretty awesome. I ordered there Coffee, taste was up to the mark. Ambiance was serene but if I am talking about price , I found them bit high. Staff nature was courteous and helpful. Hygiene was taken care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very great place and filled with great ideas. I really liked the locks on the wall, and of course I bought a lock and added mine to the decor of the place. I’d really wish if they keep it for years so when I return back to KSA after a couple of years I see it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obai, the Saudi Barista, is one of the greatest barista i’ve ever met in the world. Aside from he is a great coffee artist he is also very accomodating and knowledgeable. His customer service is beyond great even if he doesnt speak english we felt welcome and he assisted us before, during and we take our order. He made our coffee experience wonderful.
The ambience of the store is nice. I like high ceiling. The wall art is also nice. Plus the pad lock gimmick is awesome too.
I love their spanish latte and and their smokey latte it is nice. Brought me to camping vibe. The smokey taste i meant.
Overall would highly recommend.
In the Philippines bongga is something extra nice. So indeed Bonga cafe is really Bonga!!
