"M" was established on the basis of the principle of establishing with participation, which included interaction with the customer base through various social media over a period of three years to identify their proposals, needs and banking services they prefer. "M" is considered a pioneer in benefiting from the principle of incorporation with participation in the banking sector, as this method resulted in developing a business model for "M" as well as in developing services, products and the corporate identity of the bank and its culture.
It is worth noting that Gulf International Bank is owned by the six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the majority of its shares are owned by the Public Investment Fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (97.2 percent).
