★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never tried any other Benihana except this one. As I know, the restaurant originated from New York. Teppanyaki is the main thing so I tried that. Unfortunately, the beef wasn't tender or any tasty. I have been eating teppanyaki since 9 years old so it's easy for me to tell what's good and what's bad.
Also the sushi/rolls somehow do not taste Japanese. Food is expensive here. And the menu looks outdated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent dining experience, definitely worth a visit! Very family friendly, and enjoyable. The atmosphere and vibe is amazing, feels like a proper Japanese steakhouse. The chefs are so skilled and the food was delicious. I'd recommend the steak specials, as that's their speciality. It is expensive, but worth it for the experience. Mexican roll and calamari tempura were very nice as starters! Also ordered the chicken yakisoba which wasn't too bad but was a bit average. The star of the show was definitely the steak meal from the lunch special!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wavering between a 4 and a 5 star rating. We arrived about an hour after opening, which proved to be perfect. No wait, very little customers, but ready and waiting to serve you. Food was perfectly cooked (steaks, salmon), but the lobster tails, although tasty, had a bit of a frozen quality about them. Not bad, or somewhat unexpected considering we're in the middle of the desert. Server went missing towards the end when we were ready to leave, but the handy call button in the room, meant he was wasn't too far away. Suspect from the noise, they were receiving a couple of large parties. Missing soup was spot on as were the stir-fry vegetables. Rice may have been just slightly overdone. All staff were pleasant and accommodating. Do expect to pay a premium price.

The food was sumptuous and great service by the waiter.
Unfortunately the two dressed up managers on duty did not make an effort to visit our table not even once to check on our dining experience.
However, when the invoice was settled and a tip left for the waiter’s great service. The manager rushed to the table as we were leaving and took the tips from the cheque folder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the worst experience ever. If you're looking to just eat something with no taste and live cooking then this place is the best. The food is above expensive and probably they're earning for their live cooking.. sushi wasn't up to the mark and shrimps and chicken was with salt and pepper without any proper sauces. The ice cream was probably one riyal ice cream from baqala. Not at worth a visit if you're here to find a good food.. and I don't recommend onion soup ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basically if you are looking for a fun little cooking show, with average food then this is the place where you may hit. The worst thing was the ice cream it taste awful, its a cheap quality market ice cream. Nothing special about it, just their cooking show.
