Garbage school. No good teachers at all except some.

This school was good it has too many memories of my childhood. But now its corrupted and takes a lot of money. I hope it could get back to its original way. My sincerest apologies to the remaining students.

I have to say, I did not want to rate this school 1 star, but, it can't be helped. I came back to this school from Bangladesh in 2014 (previously I studied the 2010-2011 session, if I remember correctly, then left) expecting the amazing facility that it once provided. To my disappointment, many things had taken a turn for the worse. Firstly, the discipline is not what they used to be. Secondly, most of the teachers didn't even have proper communication or language skills. It was a bit tedious trying to understand what they when they said something (this happens with ONLY a few teachers). There are some amazing teachers, but sadly, they're the only good things about this school (maybe). There certainly are some marvelous students in each class, but once you get to the higher grades, the extraordinary students keep decreasing. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but what is bad, is the number of misbehaving students increase. If you've read this review for this far, I have to say, I'm surprised. But I will say this: this school can definitely do better. This school is not what it used to be. This school may not be the right one for you. TL;DR: School has become worse (maybe even more worse) when it comes to their management and teaching staff. Students are marvelous, but higher grades have a lower ratio of good students to bad ones (not only in studies, but in discipline as well)

you close your eyes and listen, you hear a flock of creatures bellowing in unison. in the distance, you hear the desperate cries of animals seeking mates. you feel a bug scramble across your foot. The stench of urine fills your nostrils, you open your eyes and realize you are not in a rainforest, you are in BISESJ

The school is terrible.. The school has teachers which scold their students for the smallest mistakes, I'd rather die than going to this school, the tables, toilets, classrooms are insanely horrific and dirty as always. Hope this school actually improves for once and for all.

The classes are terrible. The desks are always scattered around. Zero discipline. The students are bright tho.

Judging the community as a student, I am confident enough to tell you that the classmates, and seniors nearby are very engaging and kind. If you are an antisocial being, you can easily befriend your seat-partner throughout the lessons. Most of the pupils are extroverted and fun to be around, some don't hesitate of offer help when you really need it. About the teachers, I personally love the fact that they take notice of a student's wellbeing, and would do their best to explain the topic again to make sure you understand. However, there are some controversies about certain teachers (or rumors I would say) , nevertheless, I think that if you cooperate well with them, you can definitely stay out of unwanted drama's. Bangladesh International School could improve the classrooms, by fixing AC's, walls, and deep clean public places. I also prefer the idea of having a "free classroom" where the students who don't take a particular subject could sit in, since there aren't many classrooms which are welcoming enough. Moreover, if the school is financially stable, it would be a blessing to have broad subjects or wider fields, for example sports related lesson, where each of the pupils could be fit after a long hour of sitting in a classroom. Or Gastronomy, where all the students of bisesj could experience the beauty of cooking (and maybe appreciate our mothers for the regular food we eat haha), etc etc. For younger students, It's never a bad idea for them to have a separate lesson, where they could learn basic good manners, and how to respect elders. I understand that upgrading takes up a lot of effort, and finance but here are just few of my suggestions, including my personal opinions. This school is a rollercoaster of different emotions, and an excellent place to gain variety of knowledge.

This school has got it all from random toilet seats in the so called "sand field" to air conditioner to patch holes, everything you could ever ask for. classrooms that look like it has been struck by Taliban's overall a great experience
