Ten years past I tasted the sweets from this shop namely chamcham and that was awesome. Now this week I found it out and visited. It is a small shop just inside a closed street. Actually the streets ends at the gate of a ministry's office. I got a chance to sneak inside the production area and that was terribly unhygienic, at least according to my view point because in my perception good sweet shops have good taste. Anyhow I dared to buy two kg cham cham and then also dared to taste it after reaching home and then I had to feel sorry for wasting 87 riyals. I cancelled the plan to give those sweets where I intended and gave on charity to Begali labourer working across the street. Some extra quarter kg from the same shop which I bought when I tasted it yesterday it was smelly and had changed its taste, while I have never experienced sweets changing tastes such quickly even I have experienced sweets lasting months and months.

One of the oldest and famous sweet mart in Hara near Panda hypermarket. It's located little deeper backside and exact on military entrance gate. Many varieties of sweet are available. Price is reasonably low compared to other shops. Parking available infront of shop. No dine in. Worth to visit and have a first hand experience. Enjoy the dishes...highly recommended
