It is located to the right of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Road, may God be pleased with him, “Al-Anbariya.” This name is called by this name in relation to the two mountains known as the Minaret. It is also called the Mosque of Bani Dinar because it is located in their homes, and it is one of the places where the Prophet’s prayer was honored, Ibn Zabbalah and Yahya narrated on the authority of His way on the authority of Haram bin Saad bin Muhaisa that the Holy Prophet prayed in the mosque, which is the origin of the two caves on the agate road.
The historian Al-Ayashi - may God have mercy on him - mentioned that the two minarets refer to the two yellow mountains in the north of Al-Harrah, and they are known today as Al-Asifin by replacing the hamza at the beginning of the word with the eye, and the mosque is located in the eye in the form of the age building nineteen feet in like it, and it fell above, and became rubble, but it is apparent Building and borders, known as the Green Mosque.
And he said: Were it not for the fact that the path of the aqeeq came in it, I would not have been able to identify it because the two minarets or the two mountains are away from it by about one kilometer, and it was the first to define in it what is closer to it, such as the Farewell Pilgrimage or the excavation of Banu Dinar, or even Mount An’am, which is closer to it than the two minarets.
In the past, the mosque was rammed into stones, and due to its historical importance, it was rebuilt in the style of Islamic architecture during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him - in the year 1424 AH.
