Today I watched the customer in front of me who just finished paying, got approached by one supervisor and asked to remove his groceries from the trolley and carry it by hand becouse the store is short of trolleys.
What kind of respect do you have to your customers !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can find pretty much everything for everyday use and they are good quality as well.
The variety of bakery products is great and you can get a fresh pizza baked while you shop. You will get fat very quick though if you visit the bakery too often as the style here is extra sugary.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are also in huge variety.
If you have come from abroad, you will be able to find all the imported stuff like shampoos, body moisturisers, soaps etc here as well.
When you are leaving, do try the ice-cream near the tills. Its really delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Raya is one of the best supermarket in Jeddah, especially for French bread and fresh meat. You may find everything you need, they have always special offers, but be careful some products are wrongly placed and price displayed are sometimes confusing. They don't have much cashier's, so sometimes it's overcrowded however it's always open 24/7 especially if you need anything by night during Ramadan.
Update : cashier availability is still an issue, otherwise this remains my favourite supermarket for bread and opening time. Be aware some items are over priced.
