★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful mosque...with the uniqueness that partly built on water.
But alert. "ITS NOT AN ISLAMIC HISTORICAL SITE, NOT COMPULSORY TO VISIT IT, THE REWARDS FOR PRAYING HERE IS AS OF ANY OTHER MOSQUE."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ May Allah forgive the administration of this masjid. I came here Around 6:40 I asked nicely if they can open the door but they did not allow me entry into the womens praying area. This is actually happening during ramadan. i havent even broken my fast yet. Very saddened by your selfishness not even a sajadah was offered so i can pray outside. and I was not let inside because the administration does not allow women to enter only during isha. Its very sad what happened to me. Im sure this was just a test and may Allah make it easy for all muslims men and women to pray equally. May Allah prevent this from happening to any other sister.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al Rahma mosque beckons gently from the northern tip of Jeddah’s waterfront, a turquoise-domed structure built out across the Red Sea and anchored to the shore by a low-walled walkway.
A local landmark, the structure is affectionately known as the ‘floating mosque’ for the white stilts that suspend it above the water’s edge. At high tide, glinting in the sunlight, the mosque appears to hover serenely over the waves below.
Visitors come to wander the mosque’s open courtyard, admire its marbled elegance, and paddle in the nearby shallows. Over the years it has proved especially popular among Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, for whom Jeddah remains the gateway to the holy cities of Makkah and Medina, but it’s a favored stop for tourists too.
