★ ★ ★ ★ ★ كان امام هذا الجامع سابقا عبدالعزيز بن عثمان بن هليل ( ابن هليل ) وكان رحمه الله يعد من العلماء وهو من نفس الطبقة الزمنية التي عاش فيها ابن باز رحمه الله عندما كان قاضيا في بداياته فترة مابعد توحيد المملكة مباشرة ، ثم جاء من بعده ابنه القاضي صالح بن عبدالعزيز بن عثمان بن هليل من اعلام القضاة في المملكة العربية السعودية رحمهما الله الاثنين توفيا وهذا الكلام قديم جدا ، وكانت عائلة ال هليل من بيوت العلم في الدلم وهذا الجامع كان شاهدا على تلك الحقبة العلمية الاسلامية
