★ ★ ★ ★ ★ يحتوي جبل ( الَبَلْس ) على أهم القرى التابعة لخثعم ، ويسكن قمته قرابة ثلاثة آلاف نسمة في سبع قرى تقع في قمة الجبل الجميل ( الجهوم، الندبة، الوهاد، بشامة، الجعدة، ميي، والشعبان ) ، ومساحة قمته خمسة كيلومترات طولا، وأربعة كيلومترات عرضا، ويربطها مع المركز في أسفل الجبل طريق خطر متعرج تزداد خطورته في المنحنيات ولا يوجد بها الخدمات الاساسية والقاعات الحكومية حيث أن أقرب الخدمات تقع في مدينة البشائر
نتمنى التطور للمنطقة وتزويدها بالخدمات الضرورية لساكنيها واستثمارها بشكل أفضل للسياحة
 Mount (Al-Balas) contains the most important villages of Khatham, and its summit inhabits approximately three thousand people in seven villages located at the top of the beautiful mountain (Al-Jhum, Al-Nadba, Al-Wahad, Bashama, Al-Jada, Mei, and Al-Sha`ban), and its summit area is five kilometers in length and four kilometers in width. And linking it with the center at the bottom of the mountain is a dangerous, winding road, whose danger increases in curves, and there is no basic services and government halls, as the nearest services are located in the city of Al-Bashaer
