Had very bad experience with security. They always check so thoroughly all expats as we are thieves. Pathetic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extra is one of the most famous tech and home appliances store in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
People would usually compare it to other store like Jarir.
Extra has a few advantages but somethings are really not that great about it.
First of all extra has way more electrical products than jarir but to be fair jarir is the biggest bookstore in the country.
Extra sometimes has better sales and they usually get products way faster than jarir for example the Galaxy s22 series it was in extra before it got out in jarir by like two full weeks.
But on the other side the store organization in extra is like really not that great and needs to be worked on as the store looks like something from the early 2000s with good old blackberry signs hanging from the ceiling.
The buying process with the cashier is fast in extra but the problem with the workers there is that they literally know nothing.
I went to buy a mi band 6 and asked an employee there if it was available and that saudi guy didn't even know what it was but fortunately an Egyptian worker there helped me and I got it.
The return policy there is a bit harsh but most of the people would be understanding about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have purchased smart watch for my daughter. I did not check the packet there believing all will be okay. When we opened the box in car while returning to home, everything was there except the WATCH.
Immediately I went back to customer care there and informed the incident.
Finally they checked, apologized and given me new sealed box with watch.
Moral of the incident is.... Careless Sales person and careless cash counters :-(
