★ ★ ★ ★ ★ আবদুল্লাহ ইবন মাস’উদ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত, হুনাইন যুদ্ধের গনিমতের মাল বণ্টনের সময় রাসুলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) কিছু লোককে (তাদেরকে আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য) প্রাধান্য দিলেন (অর্থাৎ অন্যদের তুলনায় তাদেরকে বেশী মাল দিলেন)। তিনি আকরা ইবন হাবেসকে একশত উট দিলেন এবং উয়ায়না ইবন হিসনকেও তাঁরই মতো দিলেন। এ দেখে একটি লোক বলল, আল্লাহর কসম! এই বণ্টনে ইনসাফ করা হয়নি এবং এতে আল্লাহর সন্তোষ লাভের ইচ্ছা রাখা হয়নি।
আমি (ইবন মাস’উদ) বললাম, আল্লাহর কসম! নিশ্চয়ই আমি এ সংবাদ আল্লাহর রাসুল (সাঃ)-কে দিবো। অতএব আমি তাঁর কাছে এসে এই সংবাদ দিলাম যা সে বলল। ফলে রাসুল (সাঃ)-এর চেহারা পরিবর্তিত হয়ে এমনকি লালবর্ণ হয়ে গেল। অতঃপর তিনি বললেনঃ ‘’যদি আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসুল ইনসাফ না করেন তাহলে আর কে ইনসাফ করবে! আল্লাহ মুসাকে রহম করুন, তাঁকে এর চেয়েও বেশী কষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছিল, কিন্তু তিনি ধৈর্য ধারন করেছিলেন’’ বুখারী ৩১৫০, ৩৪০৫, ৪৩৩৫, ৪৩৩৬, ৬০৫৯, ৬১০০, ৬২৯১, ৬৩৩৬; মুসলিম ১৭৫৯-(১৪০/১০৬২); রিয়াদুস সালিহীন ৪৩
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) preferred some people (in order to attract them) to the spoils of war. He gave a hundred camels to Aqra ibn Habes and Wayna ibn Hisan as well. Seeing this, a man said, by God! There was no justice in this distribution and there was no desire to gain the pleasure of Allah.
I (Ibn Mas'ud) said, "By Allah!" Surely I will give this news to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). So I came to him and gave him the news that he said. As a result, the appearance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed and even turned red. Then he said: "If Allah and His Messenger do not do justice, then who else will do justice?"
