★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As is the case with much of Saudi Arabia's sites of historical and archeological interest, the fort was firmly closed when I visited it at various times over two days.
Impressive seen from the outside, but very disappointing for those making a special trip to visit this and other sites in the kingdom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Al Hail's historical site! Though we are not able to enter inside the old castle, because we came late but we appreciated it's strategic location. As you can see at my back, it's Hail's city and Samrah Park's overviewing!
