Unfortunately the staff were not very helpful and did not welcome inquiries, I could not get the help I needed

The staff were uninterested and were standing around. We approached 4 different staff members who were just standing with their elbows resting of shelves watching people shop, but when approached for guidance they just pointed their fingers in any odd direction and basically asked us to check for ourselves. Disappointing service. Needless to say we didn't buy anything.
What happened to customer service here ??? ?
I used to love shopping in homecentre but this has got me concerned.

The Hindi cashier at homecentre upstairs is so kind, very attentive and accomodating.
